Welcome to our Yr 7 -12 Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) laptop program! Below, you'll find essential information about the program.
Program Overview
The purpose of schools has always been to prepare students for life in a rapidly evolving world. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is a powerful initiative being utilised in industries around the world. It has been found that a successful BYOD program instils a technological self-sufficiency in individuals that utilise their personal devices to increase efficiency and boost morale. We endeavour for our school program to empower students to make positive decisions around self-discipline, work ethic and productivity by taking ownership of their tools, tasks, and behaviour.
Every student at Bray Park State High School must have a personal laptop with charger that is brought to school every day, fully charged and ready for learning.
Device Selection
Students must bring a Windows or Mac laptop with them to school each day. For information on purchasing your BYOD laptop, please see the
Device Selection page.
Device Enrolment
Bray Park State High School requires that all BYOD laptops be enrolled in Microsoft Intune to provide a safe and secure connection to our managed internet service. For a step-by-step guide on enrolling your BYOD laptop, please see the
Device Enrolment page.
Technical Support
Information Technology (IT) Support is open each morning from 8:00am before school and during both lunch breaks throughout the day. Most issues can be resolved within a few minutes of arrival.
Due to the device being owned by the family, all advanced hardware support and warranty issues will need to be sourced by the student's family from an external source.
