Junior School

From year 7, students are involved with the Design Process by studying STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths). The traditional skills of Home Economics and Manual Arts have evolved into the integration with computers, using Inventor for design whilst maintaining the skills required for using tools to make functional items and preparing food safely, hygienically and nutritionally.

Year 9 allows students to choose their own subjects from Industrial Design and Technology, Construction, Engineering, Food Studies, Nutrition and Textile Design and Fashion. All subjects are studied for one semester.

Year 10 offers opportunities to start a Vocational pathway with the year-long course in Certificate l in Manufacturing. This course also contributes to the student’s QCE points. Engineering and Design (previously Graphics) can also be chosen. Apart from the Certificate course, subjects are one semester long.

Senior School

Senior School is currently offering Authority subjects of Home Economics and Graphics and Certificate courses in Certificate ll in Manufacturing, Engineering and Automotive.
