From year 7, students are involved with the Design Process by studying STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths). Year 9 allows students to choose their own subjects from Industrial Design and Technology, Construction, Engineering, Food Studies, Nutrition and Textile Design and Fashion. All subjects are studied for one semester.
Year 10 offers opportunities to start a Vocational pathway with the year-long course in Certificate l in Manufacturing. This course also contributes to the student’s QCE points. Engineering and Design (previously Graphics) can also be chosen. Apart from the Certificate course, subjects are one semester long.
Senior School is currently offering Authority subjects of Home Economics and Graphics and Certificate courses in Certificate ll in Manufacturing, Engineering and Automotive.
There are levies to contribute to the costs of any materials taken home by students in the Senior School only.
